Winter season sales calls are the calls a business makes, and answers, in the few weeks when its whole year is decided: retailers hearing about the new woollen range, past customers reminded to service the geyser before the first cold morning, buyers asking whether a heater is in stock. With MySA Business, an AI makes the outgoing calls from your list, answers the incoming ones from your Business Details, and leaves your team a summary of every call.

## Whose year depends on the cold

For these businesses, a few winter weeks carry much of the year:

- **Woollen, knitwear and blanket makers and wholesalers**, such as the knitwear units of Ludhiana and the blanket makers of Panipat, selling to retailers across the north and east.
- **Winter-wear shops and online stores**: jackets, shawls, thermals, sweaters, kids' woollens.
- **Room heater and geyser dealers and service centres**, whose phones ring hardest in the first cold week.
- **Dry-fruit, gajak and til sweet sellers**: Morena's gajak is a winter name across north India, and every city has its own winter sweets counter.

Winter demand is strongest in north India, Bengal and the hill states, so the call language follows the buyer: Hindi or Hinglish across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh; Punjabi in Punjab; Bengali in Kolkata and the rest of West Bengal; Hindi in Himachal and Uttarakhand; Assamese in Guwahati. You choose the language per campaign, and a `language` column in your file can change it for one buyer. Hear a test call in each language before your customers do.

## New winter range: calls to retailers, spread over days

A wholesaler's first winter job is telling every retailer that the new range is ready. Six hundred shops in one day is too many, and the replies ("rate list bhejo", "next week call karo") need a team with time to act.

A **Scheduled** campaign with **Split over days** takes the whole file once and calls a fixed number each day: 100 a day turns six hundred retailers into six daily campaigns, each with its own report. Calls are never placed inside your [DND hours](/docs/dnd), and a Scheduled run dials only between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM IST. Put each retailer's last order or their usual item in `var1` to `var15`, and the AI can say "pichhli baar aapne thermal liya tha" to that one shop. The [textile article](/blog/ai-calling-for-textile-businesses) has a full wholesaler call; the [campaign docs](/docs/campaigns) show every setting.

## "Geyser service due" calls to past customers

A geyser that has sat unused since March is the first thing to fail in November. A service centre that calls last year's customers in late October fills its diary before the rush.

Export last season's service list into Excel: `destination`, `customer_name`, and the details in var columns.

| destination | customer_name | var1 | var2 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 98xxxxxx21 | Sharma ji | 2 geysers | last service March |
| 97xxxxxx07 | Meena | 1 geyser, 1 heater | last service February |

Write the purpose with those columns: "Customer ko batao ki sardi se pehle unke {var1} ki service ka time hai ({var2}). Poochho kaunsa din aur time theek rahega. Agar abhi nahi chahiye, to poochho kab call karein."

> **Example** — the service centre is made up.
>
> **AI:** Namaste Sharma ji, main ABC Home Services se bol rahi hoon. Sardi aa rahi hai, aapke 2 geysers ki service ka time ho gaya hai. Pichhli service March mein hui thi. Kaunsa din theek rahega?
>
> **Customer:** Saturday subah aa jao. Aur kitchen wala geyser thoda awaaz karta hai, wo bhi dekh lena.
>
> **AI:** Ji, Saturday subah note kar liya, aur kitchen geyser ki awaaz bhi. Hamari team time confirm karne ke liye call karegi. Dhanyavaad.

After the call, **Call Logs** shows the AI summary ("Service Saturday morning, 2 geysers, kitchen geyser making noise"), the sentiment, your tags and the recording. A customer who says "abhi nahi, December mein call karna" goes to [Follow-ups](/features/follow-ups) at the time they asked. Confirming the technician's slot is still your team's job.

## "Heater stock hai? Rate kya hai?" answered at any hour

In the first cold spell, the same questions come all day: is it in stock, what is the price, are you open. With [inbound call answering](/features/inbound-calls), the AI picks up on your business number and answers from your Business Details: models you carry, timings, delivery areas, warranty and service rules.

If stock and rates change every day, a Business Details page goes stale by afternoon. Under **Integrations → My APIs**, an API from your own billing or stock system can be ticked on the inbound number, so the AI reads what your system says now. **My APIs** appears once Custom APIs are enabled for your workspace; the [Custom APIs docs](/docs/custom-apis) explain both modes.

A Kolkata blanket and shawl shop might answer in Bengali:

> **Example** — the shop is made up; the Bengali needs a native speaker's check.
>

(In English: the caller asks for double-bed blankets, the AI says there are a few kinds at different prices, and notes that the caller will visit tomorrow afternoon.) The owner sees the call in **Call Logs** with "visit tomorrow afternoon" in the summary.

| Customer says | AI does |
| --- | --- |
| "Oil heater stock mein hai?" | Answers from Business Details, or from your stock API if one is attached |
| "Rate kya hai?" | Quotes only what your Business Details or API says; never invents a price |
| "Abhi nahi, next week call karna" | Sets a follow-up for the time asked |
| "Service wale ko bhejo" | Notes the request and preferred day for your team |
| "Kisi se baat karni hai" | Flags the call **Needs a human**, or transfers it if you set up call transfer |

## WhatsApp, Instagram and your website

Winter buyers also write. [WhatsApp smart reply](/features/whatsapp-smart-reply) answers each chat from the same Business Details, and **Today's update** can carry the line that changes daily, such as "New shawl stock arrived today". For last year's buyers, a [WhatsApp broadcast](/docs/whatsapp-broadcasts) sends one approved template to a CSV list, with each person's name filled in and opt-outs respected. A winter range follows the same steps as a [Diwali broadcast](/blog/diwali-marketing-whatsapp-ai-calls).

Winter-wear sellers on Instagram get "price?" and "size?" under every reel. With [Instagram comment to DM](/instagram-comment-to-dm), the AI answers real questions in a DM and, when the buyer is interested, asks for a mobile number, which lands as a lead.

An online winter-wear store can add [Saathi](/features/saathi), a video agent on its own website. A visitor clicks the call bubble, asks which jacket suits Shimla in December, and Saathi answers from your Business Details, opens the product page and points at the size chart. Every call comes back with a summary and the visitor's interest.

## What works today, and what it does not do

| Works today | Does not do |
| --- | --- |
| Calls retailers or past customers from your Excel list, with each row's own details | Know your stock or rates unless Business Details or your API says so |
| Spreads a long list over several days with a Scheduled campaign | Promise a discount or offer you have not written down |
| Answers inbound stock and timing questions 24/7 | Book a technician into your own service software |
| Reads live stock or rates from your API, if Custom APIs are enabled | Forecast the weather or tell you when to start the season |
| Sends approved WhatsApp templates to a list with Broadcasts | Send SMS or email |

These are scenarios, not customer stories.

## Getting started

1. [Create a workspace](/signup) and verify your mobile number to get ₹100 of Test credit in the separate **Test** environment.
2. Write and approve your Business Details: products, timings, delivery areas, service and warranty rules.
3. Press **Try now**: the AI rings your own phone, so you hear it before any customer does.
4. Upload a small list, send a test call to yourself, then go **Live**, top up the prepaid wallet and run the full season.

Calls of 10 seconds or less are free; longer calls are billed per started minute. The rate for your workspace is shown in the console. [Talk to sales](/contact) for volume pricing.

## Frequently asked questions

### When should a winter business start calling?

Before the first cold week. Service reminders and new-range calls work best when they reach people before they start looking for a heater themselves.

### Can the AI tell a caller today's heater price?

Only if the price is in your Business Details or comes from your own API through My APIs. If neither has it, the AI says it will pass the question to your team.

### Can I call Bengali-speaking buyers in Bengali and the rest in Hindi?

Yes. Set Hindi or Hinglish as the campaign language and put bengali in the language column for the rows that need it. Listen to a test call in Bengali first.

### Will my retailers get six calls if I split the list over six days?

No. Split over days calls each person once; the list is shared out across the days.

### Can the AI confirm a technician's visit time?

It notes the day the customer prefers and puts it in the summary. Fixing the technician and confirming the slot is done by your team.
